Employee Retention Report

Employee retention (or organization's ability to keep its employees from leaving) is a vital KPI that significantly influences a workplace culture and performance.

This concise one-page Power BI report delivers insights into current and historical headcount movements. The KPI is calculated by dividing the Headcount at the End of the Period by the Headcount at the Start of the Period (excluding new hires) and using disconnected Calendar table, which adds a bit of complexity to the DAX formula 🙂 The data can be filter by Employee Category, Department, or Gender and analyzed over a five-year period.
